IHSA Class 1A playoffs, Round Two

With their 10-0 win on Saturday versus Salt Fork, the Calhoun Warriors have advanced to the second round of the IHSA Class 1A playoffs. Calhoun will play Routt in Jacksonville, Friday(11/6) at 7:30 pm. You can hear the game "live" on 1480 am WJBM or online at wjbmradio.com.

Class 1A Football Playoffs

The Calhoun Warriors will play the Salt Fork Storm Saturday afternoon in the Class 1A IHSA Football Playoffs. For those going to the game. The game will be played at Catlin High School. Sidell(Jamaica) and Catlin High School form a CO-OP know as Salt Fork. Game time is 1:30 pm. You can listen "live" on 1480 WJBM and online at wjbmradio.com.

IHSA Football Playoffs

The IHSA football playoff pairing will be announced Saturday night at the IHSA offices in Bloomington. I will be posting a link to the IHSA playoff pairings page of their website on the sports page of wjbmradio.com or you can click here to go to the IHSA website. Two area teams, Calhoun and Greenfield, have qualified for the playoffs. It's our plan to provide "live" play-by-play coverage of the Calhoun Warriors during the "second season". Saturday High School Football

Saturday October, 17th WJBM will bring you "live" high school football from Virginia as the Calhoun Warriors face the Virginia Redbirds. Kickoff at 1:00 pm.

Outdoors Between The Rivers

D.J. Two Rivers Radio, the parent company of WJBM in Jerseyville and WBBA in Pittsfield, is happy to announce the debut of a new weekly outdoors program that will air weekly on both WJBM 1480 AM and WBBA 97.5 FM. Outdoors Between The Rivers, hosted by Jeff Krumweide...yes, THAT Jeff Krumweide, will air Saturdays on both stations. On WJBM, you'll be able to hear Jeff, an avid fisherman and outdoorsman, each Saturday at 12 Noon.
